Haslingden Hall

Haslingden Hall has had an exciting season, from opening an in-house boutique and daily trolley service, to featuring in the Rossendale Free Press for bringing joy and independence to our residents. Read about their participation in International Day of Peace, Dementia Friendly Afternoon Teas, and fun events like Bingo Fridays, Sports Day, and a “trip” to Greece!

Harmony House

Residents at Harmony House enjoyed a busy few months, filled with parachute games, chocolate tastings, and National Ice Cream Day celebrations. The home also welcomed back two entertainers for live singing sessions, hosted art and crafts, and even invited exotic animals for a memorable day of learning and interaction.

Kingsley

Kingsley residents were treated to pampering sessions, MacMillan Coffee Mornings, and visits from furry friends Levi and Erin, as well as children from the local nursery. From Halloween arts and crafts to gardening, and outdoor walks, the sense of community shines through.

Liberton Brae

From sunshine afternoons at Princes Street Garden, to their first Summer Fayre, Liberton Brae has been full of fun events. Their aromatic gardening sessions and weekly Bobby’s Bistro gatherings kept spirits high, while pet therapy sessions and jewellery box decorating added creative flair.

Andrew Cohen House

Celebrating birthdays in style, Andrew Cohen House gave a heartfelt party for Anthony’s 93rd birthday, and their Summer Garden Party was a day of live music, games, and good company. It’s these moments that make our home feel like a big family.

The Glen

The newly introduced Ladies and Gentlemen’s Club has become a big hit- residents enjoy mocktails and pints, play dominoes, and soak in the garden sunshine as part of this popular new activity.

Eagle View

We’re shining the spotlight on Gillian, Eagle View’s resident of the week, who keeps the home lively with her piano sessions and puzzle skills. Eagle View residents also look forward to their regular pampering sessions with hairdresser Maureen, who brings smiles and fresh new looks every time.
