Roseway House was invited by South Tyneside Council and received a token of appreciation- the freedom of the borough, one of the highest honours by the council to all the key workers for their extraordinary service during the pandemic. This meeting was held on March 9, 2023, in presence of Mayor Cllr Pat Hay, Mayoress Jean Copp, Leader Cllr Tracey Dixon, and Chief Executive Jonathan Tew – at South Shields Town Hall.
Dori, a team member of Roseway House attended this meeting to receive the honour on behalf of all the care home staff, following to this she was also selected to give a speech.
